In November 2005 , I was so very honoured to have been invited to Aras an Uachtarain as a guest of our President....the special evening was in honour of those people who had contributed to the Culture of Ireland. In this photo you see myself and indeed my brother ,Ronan,...a very fine musician in his own right...along with our esteemed President McAleese and Dr. Martin McAleese....hidden in the background is the well known and much loved sport's commentator , Jimmy Magee

Selection of photos from Africa
Here are more photos of my time spent in Africa in July 2005 when I travelled to Kenya and then onto Tanzania to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. It was all part of my fund raising effort for Refugee Trust International. The photos show me with some of the smallest children I met....they were the cutest little angels....so good and happy with so very little. The other photos show me at one of the camps along the route to the top of Kilimanjaro....and....finally...you see me at the very top if that magical mountain.... Uhuru Peak......the famous snows of Kilimanjaro were not as thick on the ground but there were certainly glaziers at its side....a memorable experience in every way....

John Count McCormack Medal
In this photo , dated 1993 ,(where have all the years gone??)......you see my beloved Dad ,Ciaran, God rest him ,.....also in the photo is Joe O Callaghan , a fine tenor, and Liam Breen the President of The John McCormack Society . It was taken following a lovely recital given by myself and Joe O Callaghan accompanied by my Dad on the piano (Dad was my accompanist throughout my singing career before his untimely death) Dad and I were very honoured to be presented by the then Lord Mayor of Dublin , Alderman Thomas MacGiolla , with the prestigious John McCormack Gold Medal
in recognition for services rendered to Charities and Music in Ireland

Lady Golfer
...as you can see I am a keen golfer....I would love to say that I am brilliant....but sure I live in hope!!! I am a member of The Heath Golf Club , Portlaoise ,and I have to say that you would have to travel far and wide to meet nicer people...especially, John and Rita Arrigan....and for the record they are fantastic golfers!!!
